Trick to Convert Your Browser into Text Editor (Notepad)

Have you ever Wondered of using your Browser as your Text Editor?
You can now convert your browser in to a text editor like Notepad.
Just Follow These Simple Steps:

Step 1: open Chrome or Firefox Browser.

Step 2: Now you have to type > data:text/html, <html contenteditable> in your address bar or simply Copy paste
Step 3: Now Press enter and you will see the cursor blinking.

Thats it now start typing.

Create Nameless Folder

This trick is only for fun

You can create nameless folder in any version of windows by following these steps :-

1. Select any file and folder
2. Rename it with Alt+0160(While still holding the Alt key, type the numbers 0160 from the keyboard)
3. The File or Folder will be of without name

Note: The numbers must be typed from the numerpad of your keyboard. i.e the number keys present on the right side of the keyboard and not from the number keys present above the top of character keys.

If you want to create two nameless folder in same directory then you have repeat 2nd step two times and so on

Watch ASCII Star Wars in Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8

To watch it on Windows XP, Mac OS X and Linux

Go to Start, Run. (Only for Windows users)
Now type "telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl" without the quotes and press Enter. Users of Mac OS X and Linux can directly execute this code in the terminal window.

On Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista

Telnet is turned off by default in the latest versions of Windows. So, in order to watch star wars, you must first enable telnet by going to Control Panel › Programs › Turn Windows Feature On or Off and ticking both the telnet check boxes. After doing that, follow the steps given below:-

Go to Start, Search in Windows Vista and Windows 7. On Windows 8, open the main Start page.
Type telnet and press Enter.
In the following command prompt window, type "o" without quotes and press Enter.
Now type "towel.blinkenlights.nl" without the quotes and press Enter.

If you do not need telnet anymore, you can turn it off.

Make your PC welcome you in its computerized voice

1. Click on Start. Navigate to All Programs, Accessories and Notepad.
2. Copy and paste the codes given below.

Dim speaks, speech
speaks="Welcome to your PC, Username"
Set speech=CreateObject("sapi.spvoice")
speech.Speak speaks

3. Replace Username with your own name.
4. Click on File Menu, Save As, select All Types in Save as Type option, and save the file as Welcome.vbs or “*.vbs”.
5. Copy the saved file.
6. Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (in Windows XP)

Or

C:\Users \User-Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (in Windows Vista or in Windows 7 or in Windows 8 ) if C: is your System drive (Operation system Drive).
7. Paste the file.

Now when the next time you start your computer, Windows will welcome you in its own computer voice.

Note: For best results, it is recommended to change sound scheme to No Sounds.
You can change the sound scheme to No Sounds by following the steps given below:-

Go to Control Panel.
Then click on Switch to Classic View.
Then Click on Sounds and Audio Devices.
Then Click on the Sounds Tab.
Select No Sounds from the Sound Scheme option.
If you wish to save your Previous Sound Scheme, you can save it by clicking Yes in the popup menu.
Click on OK.

Cool Keyboard Trick

Keyboards usually have small LED's which indicates whether different types of locks(num lock, scroll lock, caps lock) are activated or not. Here is a trick to use the lights of your keyboard in a more creative manner in Windows

This trick uses a simple Visual basic script which when activated makes your scroll lock, caps lock and num locks LED's flash in a cool rhythmic way which gives the perception of a live disco on your keyboard.

To make your own live disco, follow the steps given below:-
1. Open Notepad
2. Copy paste the exact code given below:

wshshell.sendkeys "{NUMLOCK}"

Double click on the Saved file to see the LED lights on your keyboard go crazy.
This trick has been tested on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 and found to be working perfectly.

You can disable the keyboard disco by following these steps

Open Task Manager ( ctrl+alt+del )
go to process tab
select wscript.exe
click on end process

How to Copy Text from Images

If you have Microsoft office in your computer then you won’t require any other software. You can use Microsoft Office OneNote to copy text from image.
Just follow these steps:

Install MS-Office on your system.
Start->All Programs->Microsoft Office->Microsoft Office OneNote.
Copy and paste the image into MS-OneNote window which you want copy the text.
Right Click on the image and select ‘Copy Text from Picture option’.
Open a new Notepad or MS-Office word and paste the content.

Lock Your USB Drive Without Using Any Software

Insert your USB drive to computer Click on Start. In "Search programs and files" box, type Bitlocker Drive Encryption Now launch that application.

Then look for your USB drive and click on Turn on Bitlocker

Windows will ask you to set a password. Now set a strong password.
Click on Next

If can save the password in a safe place.
Now click on Next

Now click on Star Encrypting

How to Format USB Pen Drives Using Command Prompt to Delete Viruses Permanently

Follow these steps:

Insert pen-drive into your PC
Find the drive letter of the pen drive
Now click on Start ---> Run
In run box, type cmd and hit Enter
Now command prompt will appear, in this window type format "your pen drive letter:"
For example type : format g:
Hit Enter twice
Wait for sometime until command prompt verify the file system.
Now command prompt will ask you to enter a drive name.
After that type the drive name and then hit Enter again.
